習(xí)近平甫一上任，就提出實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興中國夢的目標(biāo)。
2012年11月29日，習(xí)近平在國家博物館參觀“復(fù)興之路”展覽時，第一次闡釋了中國夢的概念?！按蠹叶荚谟懻撝袊鴫?，我以為，實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興，就是中華民族近代以來最偉大的夢想?！彼f。
在此后一系列對中國夢的闡述中，習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)了“中國夢歸根到底是人民的夢”，提出國家、集體、個人三個“夢”的維度。他還在多個場合闡述了中國夢的世界意義。

【例】實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興，是近代以來中國人民最偉大的夢想，我們稱之為“中國夢”，基本內(nèi)涵是實現(xiàn)國家富強(qiáng)、民族振興、人民幸福。
The rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has been the greatest dream of the Chinese people since the beginning of modern times; we call this the Chinese Dream. The idea in essence is to make the country prosperous and strong, rejuvenate the nation, and see that the people are happy.
